Bush and his gay and transsexual friends
Well, I was kinda expecting this.
Think of the American politics. There are Democrats, Republicans and The Green Party. To the public there are only Democrats and Republicans because the Green Party isn't as manipulative and powerhungry as the two others so it always loses the political battles. Democrats and Republicans. Black and white. Two sides of the same coin. Their agendas usually mirror each other to portray two very different views.
Both Democrats and Republicans work in the same way. They study the people. Democrats listen to the people calling themselves Democrats, and Republicans listening to the people calling themselves Republicans. Their agenda is formed from what the majority of Americans hold dear.
Of course, human mind is not black and white. There are alot of politicans who disagree with the whole agenda, or parts of it. But they either silence themselves for the party, or the party silences them. The agenda is their law. You have to follow the law. Still, there will be some uprisings and from time to time you will see the party voting for some new law which would be otherwise against their agenda. These are however, very brief.
When the elections get near, each party chooses their candinate. They look for charismatic person, who looks like an American ideal. In other words, a married, nicely aged (Age is wisdom in the USA. In Europe it's senility. Plus, older people are usually less likely to bite the feeding hand.) white Aryan male. Their political views do not matter. The president candinate will be strictly tied to the party. A puppet candinate. Remember when Bush was wired? Republicans didn't want him to accidentally blurt out something about his gay and transsexual friendly past or anything which would differ from their agenda.
When the canditate will be elected as the new president, he will be still tied to the party. Afterall, all presidents want to get to the second term, and the party is their only help in that.
Now when Bush cannot be elected again (low ratings, and I think you cannot be voted for the third term..?) I think he should cut his ties to the Republican party and uncover all this hidden shit. Including names. When you have nothing to lose, it's time to be radical.
