New comic
When I started writing this blog, I made a promise to myself to not to bash anyone in it. Except politicians and presidents, they deserve it. But that was LAST year, and didn't make it to this year's resolution. So to honor Eddie Guerrero's (yes, I watch WWE, a bad habit of mine, just like picking nose in public. Also his name generates more hits to my blog.) memory; "I lieeed!"
Except I really don't lie, since im going to bash a person's (or two persons' in this case) work, not them directly. Whatever. Enough of excuses.
What do you get when you breed Penny Arcade and VG cats but fail horribly? This.
Press Start To Play is a new comic. You don't have to go futher than the mainpage to find the similarity with VG cats and Penny Arcade. Seems like all the game-bashing/praising online comics copy each other. It's like Star Wars, sometimes you end up with a good movie, other times total shit. Press Start To Play proves to be the latter. Although it's a total rip-off from the two other popular gaming comics, it fails to mimic the good art and jokes. Granted, Penny Arcade's jokes were worse than lame in the beginning. And VG cats' art was horrible. But at least both of them had ONE thing right. Either the art or jokes. This one has none.
0 points. Happy Epiphany.
