Oprah has arrived to Finland
They're showing Oprah on a national TV channel. They're calling her the mother of all talk show hosts.
Right.
First the flood of reality shows and reruns of 24 and now this.
While the Finnish TV continues it's americalization, I keep wondering if showing Oprah actually does some good. First I thought that since Oprah is black, and Finland is 99,98% white, most of it more or less racist, Oprah would decrease the racism. People here would get used seeing a black woman.
But then I thought that hey, wait, it's Oprah. If she does something then she just increases the racism.
And that's all I have for today.
